Entrepreneurs are known for their ability to think outside the box, solve problems and create new, innovative products. As a business owner, shouldn't you expect the same from your service providers? That's where Traction comes in.
Traction provides accounting done right for small, scaling businesses. Led by an accomplished leadership team, we have experience with everything from day-to-day basic bookkeeping to strategic financial analysis and bring more expertise than your average bookkeeper. We are more focused on the day-to-day operations of your business than a fractional CFO and provide more customized hands-on support than a traditional CPA firm. Ultimately, we help business owners get out from behind their desk, so that they can spend more time on the projects they are passionate about.
Traction's core business is providing high-quality monthly financial statements and closes. We also offer full suite accounting support including accounts receivable administration, accounts payable processing, payroll processing (via third-party platforms), and bespoke financial statement reporting and analysis. Many of our clients are venture backed or are soon to raise their first round; as such, we understand the necessity for clean, well-supported financial statements. Driven by a strong set of core values, we meet the needs of the client, whether that be a full team reporting to the CEO and board, or in a support role reporting to the CFO.
With Traction handling your accounting, you can rest assured your bases are covered: You'll save time on back-office tasks; have accurate, current and complete financial information; have a built-in resource to to help you manage financial matters as your business grows; and be well positioned to realize a return on investment from your accounting support.
You started your business because you're passionate about what you do, not because you love accounting. Let us help you get back to doing what you love.
Our product is simple: (1) Work with us to select a monthly maintenance bundle that best suits your business. (2) When one-off financial matters arise, reach out to us for support on anything included in our add on menu and we will get it done. The result is a dynamic scope of services that ensures you have everything you need each month and nothing you don't. Furthermore, because we keep your books, we know you and your business—making any supplementary analysis, tax preparation, or other ad-hoc support you may need easy and cost effective to administer.
